Hip Hop suffered another death last week.
Pioneer Mr Magic died of a heart attack at the end of the week. The New York DJ was thought to be the first commercial radio station rap DJ and was a huge influence in the pushing of hip hop into the mainstream. So influential was his show that he was mentioned in the classic Biggie track Juicy amongst others.
