Lopez and John Frusciante release charity album

Mars Volta’s Omar Rodriguez Lopez and ex Red Hot Chili Pepper guitarist John Frusciante have released a free album in order to raise money for the Keep Music in Schools charity.

The album ‘Sepulcros De Miel’, which means ‘Graves of Honey’, will be available to download on the artist’s website. It also features Mars Volta members Juan Alderete and Marcel Lopez. The album follows the increasingly popular ‘pay what you feel’ theme with a suggested donation that will go to the charity.
