Joy Division documentary to be released

A Joy Division documentary is set to hit the UK on May 2nd.

Joy Division, directed by Grant Gee examines the band’s story through personal photos, period films, newly discovered audiotapes and performance footage. Interviews with Tony Wilson also appear with all of the band contributing. Peter Hook has praised the documentary calling it “the perfect answer” to last year’s film Control.
