Dave Grohl has written a song about Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love.
In a recent interview, the Foo Fighters frontman explained that he’s written a song about being helpless to someone else’s downfall and that though this has happened more than once in his life, the most noted of all was Kurt Cobain’s demise. He added:
“There are a lot of people that I’ve been angry with in my life, but the one that’s most noted is Courtney. So it’s pretty obvious to me that those correlations are gonna pop up every now and again. I still remain a little secretive about it all.”
The new record is titled Echoes, Silence, Patience And Grace and is due out September 25.
