Reports from Vietnam seem to show that Gary Glitter might get an early release from his 3 years sentence for child molestation because he might quality for a presidential amnesty which marks the new year celebrations in mid-February.
The head of the Thu Duc Z30 prison where he’s serving his term said:
“He is on the list of prisoners to be offered a reduction of their prison term. Glitter has respected the jail’s regulations, and his re-education is quite good. We are working on formalities regarding his release, which will be considered and decided in coming weeks.”
