Damon Albarn has revealed that he plans to release a new album in July.
The Blur frontman, who recently performed with The Good The Bad And The Queen at London’s Love Music Hate Racism Festival, has said that the new record will feature a Chinese choir and an orchestra, with over 120 people featured. He hinted that it might have somethnig to do with his recent opera Monkey: Journey To The West but saying that the project’s title had “something of monkeys in there”.
