Greg Nowik is Shit?

Yeah right! Wight Trash is a new board company headed up by John Cattle over in the Isle of White and manufactured by Death.

The team consists of AVI aka (Chris Atherton), Flynn Trotman, BOD (aka Bodine Grist), Jocky, Martin Allen, Cliff Church (aka Questionaire), Sam Gryzb and Greg Nowik Nowik has some proper shit graphics in guise of a pro model for help to the nation of mini ramp riders which will be available very soon.

King Of New York

Throughout the month of September, DC Shoes is throwing down the gauntlet in the Big Apple to find the King of New York.

Basically, a spot in each of the 5 boroughs – Staten Island ABC ledges, Manhattan Brooklyn banks, Queens Flushing meadows, Brooklyn John Dewey High and the Bronx Rafael Hernandez Academy- will pitch 50 amateurs head to head throughout the day with the winner from each comp collecting cash, prizes and points.

The overall winner with the most points after all five stages of the competition will be proclaimed King of New York!

Am’s Getting Paid

The Ams Getting Paid comp will be taking place in Montreal over the weekend of 22nd to 24th September.

Despite the $15,000 prize money, a brand new Canadian video Yesterday’s Future showcasing the talent of local riders like Ted de Gros, Grant Patterson, Geoff Dermer, Carl Labelle, Dustin Montie and newfound resident Paul Carter.

In addition to the release of Yesterday’s Future, Vans will drop some limited edition hi-tops, as well a limited supply of boards and t-shirts to celebrate this Canadian milestone.

East Coast notables, the Zoo York team, will be present at Ams getting’ paid as it coincides with their Canadian Unbreakable Tour. Oh! And hip hop heads rejoice as New York heavy weight, Raekwon the Chef will be performing live at the comp too!

Chill And Freestyler R.I.P.

The skate media can be a pretty tough world to compete in, and France just lost two great mags because of it.

Without going into the politics of it all, Crossfire would like to say thanks for all the good times that Chill and Freestyler magazines provided.

Even though Freestyler is definitely no longer around, Chill magazine promises to update it’s website with bits and bobs and now and again.

Dublin DITC

In a similar vein to Day In The City, Dublin skaters can take part in a skating/filming session across the European city on September 24th for the G1 Skate Supply My Goodness! Comp.
