Trisickle 3 unleashed

Issue 3 of the FREE skateboard magazine that is written by skaters, for skaters is available now through all good skater-owned shops.

It won’t be hard to spot, just look out for a fucking beastly front cover of Greg Nowik getting blunted at the Bay 66 mini. It’s stonking!

The issue features an interview with the man himself, a feature on the Duffs’ road trip, interviews with the Cantelocals, psychics analysing dreams at the Epic all night jam and more!

Tricycles cost money, and are lame. Trisickle costs nothing, and is available in your local skater owned shop. Apologies on the worst slogan ever written.

A mere fiver will land you the stonking ‘Through The Eyes Of A Ruby‘ as well as three other Sheffield classics. All on one DVD with a wide array of bonus footage, including a ‘Get Well Soon Ali‘ montage with previously unseen Ali footage. Love it!

You can order 0114, or other Filmmaker’s Guild releases from the Story Store by clicking here.

Curb Surfers Jam Footage – Tonight!

Despite all the last minute editing on behalf of poor Pasnip, who was locked in a cage and whipped by various Casual heads until the hours of carnage from the Jam were edited into a small feature, the episode was postponed due to some technical mishap.

However, episode 3, which features all the juice from Saturday’s Jam at Meanwhile will be aired tonight [May 8th] at the usual time of 9pm on Sky Channel 146. It should be online very soon so make sure you check it as it’s hyped to be the best episode yet!

We can’t get enough of jam footage here at Crossfire. Strawberry jam, raspberry jam, apricot jam, even blackcurrant jam, but none of ’em are as scrumptious as the Crossfire Jam.

Warning: Contains a Pie/Porno Paul bukkake sequence. Watch at your own discretion.

Police Bank R.I.P

Yes, horrid though it is to say, another one of England’s finest and well-known skate spots has met its denouement.

Probably the most acknowledged natural quarter in England, a great place to meet for a session and all around a haven for skateboarding. It was the last remaining spot in Liverpool that’s not a bust. Not a nice day for skateboarding, but the memories live on and that!

Here she lies, in a bright yellow waste receptacle.

For footage of how pumped this spot got sessions going, go here.

Munsons ‘Slab of Meat’

You want to know what pain really is?

Duffs and Creature beast Mark Munson earned this beauty from a back smith grind-to-lipslide-to-coping-to-flat bottom for the cause on a recent Spanish Basque Country trip with Styley, Carl Wilson, Ben Raemers and French. Mark is reported to have contunued skating and even hucked out an invert after this went down!

Styley supposedly took some killer photo’s of the trip so you never know, you may even see them in a forthcoming feature in a mag soon.

Chalk ‘em up

Are you one of those sorts who like to write all sorts of hilariously witty, or mind boggling statements or quotes on your skateboard? Or perhaps even draw amusing little sketches of worn out characters to brighten up your drab, black griptape?

Well, there comes a time, a week after this when you think of an even BETTER thing to write on your deck. Alas, you must now remained tortured by the prospect of riding a deck sporting a shitty old slogan whilst your mind torments you with this great new idea!

NOT ANY MORE.

Designers Mary Matson and Matt Even have whipped out the solution to your problems. A skateboard with a chalk friendly texture! Now if you ever feel the need to prove your improved theory of relativity to some ignorant dweeb at the skatepark, you can simply whip out a piece of chalk and provide a simple visual presentation right there and then! Stupendous!

If your slogan is getting tiresome, simply rub it off and write a new one! Or if you’re feeling dastardly, just pull a boardslide to let off probably the most hideous sound any human ear could possibly withstand.

I kid, I kid. HQ has ordered three of these already…so we will never be disorganised again.

Enjoi are nice!

Hot ‘n fresh off the Enjoi website today…

“A huge corporation asked us to make them a commercial for their new video game for free. Being the generous and sweet people that we are, we complied and made it free of charge. The following is what we felt was a fair representation of the support of said Corporation. They denied it and sent it straight back.

Congratulations! You are now the lucky benefactors of our hard work.”

Attached to this piece of news was the video itself, which you must do yourself a favour with and watch by clicking here.

One word, STOKED.
