From quoting Morrisey, to exploring Andrew Reynolds’ O.C.Ds, Patrick O’Dells’ Epicly Later’d show on VBS.
TV is always set to be an interesting watch. Young ripper, Alex Olson is latest up to be cross-examined. The N26 lurkers are already claiming that this may be the best addition yet, and I’ve learnt anything in the past few years, it’s to never question a N26 lurker.

During the first three days in March, Globe and Thrasher Magazine brought many of the best skateboarders in the world together for a Woodstock-like, extended skateboarding party, showcasing three completely different set-ups:
1. A ridiculously challenging, white-knuckle hazardous, sandpaper covered 10-foot deep halfpipe with kinks, a jagged, no-bonk lip and terrifying transitions, known as the Pizzey Bowl.
2. A metal mini ramp and a three-foot-high, four-foot-wide vertical concrete quarterpipe thrown in for good measure at the Globe Gold Coast Headquarters
3. The Varsity Double, a very large and daunting (six-flat-seven) double set of stairs with a hubba style ledge capped with metal.
$50,000 in cash was available over 3 days and the video from the event is now edited comprised of Thrasher’s Tizzy at Pizzey, Globe’s Mini Ramp Madness, and the Double Stack Cash Attack, this cinematic experience is like no other skate film you’ve ever seen starring: Mark Appleyard, Chris Haslam, Adam Dyet, Paul Rodriguez, Stefan Janoski, Omar Hassan, Greg Lutzka, David Gonzalez, Matt Mumford, Terrell Robinson and many more.

The Girl tour has been tearing it’s way through Europe over those recent horrible things controlled by the sun that some of us like to call ‘days’.
The stop on Saturday is Southbank in London, so for all you skate rats planning to attend, check out the recent footage from the Area 51 Demo in Eindhoven! It’s tasty!

The new skate company conceived by the illustrious Love Eneroth, Bellows, has now brought out a website for your perusal.
This is the first step of greater things to come from another European company with a masterful hand at aesthetics. Keep ’em coming.

As they say, you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. However, this statement means nothing to those over at Neversoft who, on time as always, have introduced the concept of the ninth game in the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series.
With huge competition this year emerging from EA’s SKATE, will this game finally be the realistic skate simulation they keep promising us? And even if it isn’t will it still fly of the shelves? Of course it would.
‘Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground‘ has another unique selling point to add to its collection this year. It will focus on filming and editing your own skate video in various skate metropolises over America. Philly, DC and Baltimore to name but a few. This year’s instalment also allows for bowl carving (about time!) as well as being able to alter your skate spot to uncover more line possibilities. Nail the trick also returns with the addition of ‘Nail the Grab’ and ‘Nail the Manual’. Great.
President of Neversoft, Joel Jewett claims that the game will “drop players into the skateboarding world like never before. This is the largest, deepest and most compelling Tony Hawk game ever. You can skate the best lines, define your own style and produce your own videos. You can even take it further by tricking out your own Skate Lounge, where you can hang out and skate with others online. Proving Ground will throw you so deep into the lifestyle of skateboarding that you won’t be able to get out. Hands down, it’s the most exciting Tony Hawk title yet.”
So what’s next? Scene Tony Hawk’s Videos emerging on Youtube? Maybe not, but Neversoft seem to be getting ever closer in their aim to prevent a child from ever leaving the house again.
It’s that time of year for another one of Transworld‘s ludicrously glamorous, beautifully captured productions to drop. And it turn make every other video we were loving off this year look like it was filmed by Grandpa George.
Whether it has an irritating narration about how great skateboarding is (we are skateboarders after all, we don’t need reminding), or not, it’s bound to be nothing short of spectacular. Especially with a superb line up, boasting the likes of – Clint Peterson, Devine Calloway, Brain Brown, Peter Smolik and Emmanuel Guzman.
