Free Your Spot

FreeYourSpot.com is a brand new website that aims to catalogue every skatespot worldwide by you submitting location and photos of it, to create a bible of skatespots online.

No more searching for hours in the sketchiest backstreets of Poland to find that elusive marble block beauty. Just search for it and you have a map of where to go. Although skeptical at first that this might ruin that feeling of ‘the hunt’ for spots, this has already had me saying “Aaaah, so that’s where that is!”.

Osiris doing it on Canvas

Osiris are releasing an artist range of shoes with the latest being a shoes featuring the drawings of Zach Johnson, which will be hitting the shops right now.

Zachariah Johnson is a young artist concentrating in watercolour, pen and ink, and mixed media who works on paper. His medium of choice is the micron pen and he uses them exhaustively to describe a world of ghouls, monsters and misfits – the shady characters in everyday life, but just hidden from normal view.

Heath Kirchart Epicly Later’d

I will not hear a bad word against Heath Kirchart. He’s been absolutely killing it for years and years now, taking some of the gnarliest slams and still getting back up to nail ludicrous tricks down massive hubbas, yet still remaining completely modest about it all.

Heath gets his time to shine on the latest Epicly Later’d as part of the Emerica Wild Ride, and like Reynolds says “He’s quiet and gets on with his shit”.

Dominion Skateboards ‘The Main Course’ trailer

Check out this new teaser video from Dominion Skateshop in the US, for their new video The Main Course, out now.

Don’t get confused like I did, and think that Tyler Beall is wearing a paperbag on his head. He isn’t, but for a second I thought, “Shit, that’s well gnarly”.

Lakai’s ‘Fully Flared’ premiere hits London

Leicester Square was literally blown away last night by the Lakai boys and their Fully Flared video.

When we say blown away, the intro sequence had us all diving for the bomb shelters, just you wait. In attendance were Brandon Biebel and Mike Carroll, whose sections were chronicles of ridic, and other outstanding sections from the likes of Mike Mo (holy shitting Christ that kid is good), Eric Koston, Scott Johnston, Jesus Fernandez, MJ, Rick Howard, The Royal Family, Guy Mariano and many more.

Just to let you know, no-one at the London premiere cried during Mariano’s section, unlike some kid in Los Angeles when it was shown, apparently! The after party shenanigans round the corner left a few people with soreheads, naturally, the evidence of which can be found below in yet another booze-fuelled Night Raids, coming very soon!
