This years Crossfire Xmas Jam in association with Emerica, Altamont and Ricta went off in fine style this Saturday at Bay66 Skatepark. The park was packed out with people and the skating ended up as usual off the hook.
Nicky Howells won the ledge comp with a tailslide flip to fakie, Danny Brady won the Altamont block comp with various tricks including fakie blunt, fs 180 fakie nosegrind to revert. Ben Raemers won the wallride comp with a noseblunt on the side wall, a dogpisser and a foot plant before winning the wallride comp on the mini ramp with various tricks including noseblunt on the side, more dogpissers and bs wallride 180 out. Mikey Wright won the rail comp and shut it down, watch this footage below courtesy of Henry at Document.
The midi ramp jam was rained out due to the shit weather but it didn’t stop Ben Nordberg from taking cash with a bigspin backside lipslide. Jake Colling hucked fs stalefish to tail slap, frontside flip grabs and flip stalefish amongst many more. Trevor Johnson stuffed a backside boneless to fakie, switch fs grinds and ended the last seconds with a flip frontside blunt.
There’s so much more to post on here but wait for the full feature. Big thanks to Sidewalk Mag whose edit is below for you to watch. Massive thanks to all the UK skate companies that supported this event with pro riders, it was by far the best turn out in 6 yrs and ended with a monster product toss!
Also, big thanks to everyone who came to this event to make a stand against knife crime with us in partnership with It Doesn’t Have to Happen. We are proud to be assocated with such an important cause and hope that the message spreads of it’s importance. A full video edit and pics will follow next week once we recover.
