It’s always welcome to get a press release full of good news through the mail overnight and this one is well deserved. Brandon Westgate was officially added to the Zoo York pro team last night.

His pro deck features a tight unit floating on a lilo, look out for those fresh buns and a full video part in the forthcoming Zoo York DVD ‘State of Mind‘ released this June.

Fred Gall‘s pro shoe on IPATH has just been released.

Look out for these in your local SOS this summer and keep your eyes and ears peeled as their are rumours out there that the team may well be heading to the UK before September.

A few months ago you may have read this interview with Marty Murawski on our site where we hinted that Blueprint were in the look out for his services on the team.

Yesterday his status was made official and Marty will now be pushing the colour Blue in the States where the focus has been since the unfortunate demise of their UK distributor. Look out for more BP news soon.

Good news for old school skaters this week and also collectors as skater owned shops will receive the first wave of reprints from the early Santa Cruz collections from the 80’s.

Expect to find the classic Tom Knox cop Beater, Roskopp face deck and the Corey O’Brian Reaper (in Black) lurking on walls awaiting your collection.

They are limited to only 30 each so grab them while you can.

Wakefield’s amazing new concrete skate park has an official opening date now for locals.

Sunday 31st May from 12-7pm will see Thornes Park turn into a frenxzy with pro demos, music and freebies. Get down there if you are nearby.
