Could this be the very first manual in the Whitehouse ever? I’m pretty sure Obama may have pipped him to the post though.

I will never forget the hot sunny day in Marseille when Brewce Martin sprayed his balls in gold paint and then dropped into the vert bowl naked in front of 3000 people with only 3 wheels on his deck! Hanging with this guy for a weekend was chaotic to say the least. He owns the Skatopia ranch out in Ohio which to many would be like a scene out of Mad Max but the fact is that this place is real and it gets bigger every year.

Sadly just yesterday, Martin was carted off to hospital injured from a tyre explosion in a nearby tyre shop and now he is in critical condition due to brain swelling from the incident according to reports on the Skatopia website this morning. A new movie titled Skatopia: 88 Acres of Anarchy documents Brewce for a tumultuous year as he struggles to keep Skatopia afloat. Watch the brand new trailer for it below. Our thoughts go out to you Brewce, get well soon.

Cardiff has fun and games planned for Go Skateboarding Day this year.

The hook up is at Bute Square at 3pm, a comp on the Sports Cafe 8 set, then a race down Queen Street to win a Who? Clothing Package and longest powerslide down the Monument Hill into the underpass plus more spots and freebies.

Death Skateboards rider Dean Palmer has a fresh edit lifted from the Mosaiook video unleashed onto youtube this week. The DVD features riders from Sydney, Melbourne and Europe from the Ook crew. You can also watch some fresh footage of Schooner below at 5Dock with Horsey. Schooner has been out with a nasty knee injury so it’s good to see him back in there ripping. In other related Australian news, skate photographer Steve Gourlay just completed a Triple Shot interview, so look out for that next week.
