DVS Shoes have dropped their entry to this years Skate and Create comp over at Transworld. Synchronization is the name of the game in this edit which sees perfection from the team riders who hit blocks and other bespoke man-made obstacles in a wood filled studio. It’s been long overdue but finally it looks like Edinburgh skate locals could be shredding a new state of the art skate park very soon.

Plans for a new park are online and include an over-vert bowled corner, clover bowl with pool coping, hipped mini-ramp, ledges, wallrides, the lot. This looks like it could be exactly what the Scots need.

The proposed site is Saughton Park with Clachan Construction heading up the project, the same company that built Saltcoats, Perth and Penicuik skateparks amongst others. Work begins this month so look out for updates as it takes shape.

When Austrian locals from the Muckefuck Skateboards crew are not swigging on their own beer celebrating 5 years in the game, you can find them filming a new trailer with added gnar. This new edit by Manuel Knoflach features skating from Ralf Edlinger, Roman Astleitner, Herwig Hornich, Andreas Fugger, Mathäus Zingerle and many more. Brooklyn rapper Jeru the Damaja has dropped a tune for Josh Kalis on the DC site this week. Kalis’ section in the amazing Mindfield video has been remixed and those who know will be thinking that You still Can’t Stop the Prophet.
