Planet Earth go DIY
Planet Earth Clothing donated some concrete for the DIY skatepark-building community known as Marginal Way. From the ground up these guys are making quality concrete for the skaters of Seattle, turning derelict property into something much more positive; a place for skaters to congregate and have a sick ride.
Planet Earth have just posted a mini-documentary about Marginal Way that you can set your eyes on here as well as some words straight from the hard-working people involved. Good stuff.

Go Skateboarding Day!
I’m sure that Monday wasn’t the day any of us hoped Go Skateboarding Day would fall on after all the fun had on the big sunny weekend last year. But sweet lady luck has brought the sun out for all us skate-rats in London town so there’s no excuse not to have a push before work, after work or on the way to where ever you guys are headed. Have a good one on us.
Here’s the official poster courtesy of down-for-life Shepard Fairey and some words he has to say about the good stuff…- Joe Moynihan (Features Editor)
‘Skateboarding changed my life. When I was a teenager, I needed a creative, physical outlet that didn’t require me to join a team, and skateboarding was just that. I enjoyed the aggression and stress relief it provided, as well as the creative progression it allowed me to make. The culture of skateboarding also inspired me to make stencils and homemade t-shirts, activities that led to the career I have today. I owe so much to skateboarding for its influence on me, so it’s a pleasure to try to inspire others to skate.’
Tonight we will be at Meanwhile Gardens in Westbourne Grove for an evening sesh, come join us.
The World Cup is on, England have been rubbish so far against Algeria and the USA and British people seem dubious about our chances of winning the World’s most wanted trophy.
Creature on the other hand, being the most unlikely skate company to piggy back the tournament with their hesh-filled team have unleashed a football this month so you can chuck it in the back of the van on a skate trip and have a keepy ups sesh in between rolling with your best mates!
Their ‘Yah We Did It Soccer Ball’ is out there now, track it down and give it a kick in.
Creature’s machine gun David Gravette teams up with Sonny Charles on the tunes for Brandon Jensen‘s ‘Beware of Sasquatch‘ DVD. Enjoy his section that was posted up this morning right here.
