Well at least from today you may bump into their first attempt at making a skateboard as you trudge round the store, wondering why you left the house in the first place.

They have rolled out a new SPÄNST collection, designed by a surfer from California called Chris Stamp who says on his new range:

Quality was their first focus. “We worked hard on finding a supplier that we knew met our standards. At the same time, I started thinking about what kind of board we wanted to make. It was important to me that it was accessible. I believe we ended up with something in between a longboard and a more technical board.”

This is by far the coolest thing to happen to skateboarding since the sport was announced for 2020 Olympics. Expect the skateboard to come in a flatpack with parts missing and ridiculous tools that never seem to work.
