Quannum’s Lifesavas are back with their follow up to Spirit In Stone, with Gutterfly. The idea was conceived by Barak Feldman and he shared his vision with the group after having been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
The group then went on to write Gutterfly, based on the concepts for the film that inspired Feldman and the album features the tales of three ghetto superheroes and their mission to save Razorblade City.
With production by the group themselves, coupled with guest spots from Jake One, Vitamin D and Oh No and with vocal guests Dead Prez, Camp Lo and Ishmael Butler from Digable Planets, the album is set for an April release.
RJD2 will release You Never Had It So Good as a limited 7″ single on the 19th of February. The song is taken from his forthcoming third album, and his first for XL, The Third Hand. The tracklisting for the album is:

108 have decided to reform for good after their split in 1996. The group are due to enter the studio with Converge’s Kurt Ballou next month to record the new record and plan to tour the US, Japan, South America and Europe to support it.
