Interpol have announced the tracklisting to their new album.

The follow up to Antics will be called Our Love To Admire and will be released in July. The tracklist is:

Bleeding Through lose guitarist

Bleeding Through have lost guitarist Scott Danough, according to an announcement on their MySpace.

The announcement said that the band and Danough had “grown apart and it was time for both parties to move on.” There seems to be no ill feeling and the band wished him the best on the bulletin.

They are writing new material and have said that Jona from I Killed The Prom Queen will be stepping in as a replacement for now.

Spinal Tap reform!

Spinal Tap are set to reform for Live Earth this July.

All the original members of the mock band will be performing at Wembley Stadium and they plan to release a new single for the occasion called Warmer Than Hell. Rob Reiner, the director of the film, will be debuting a new 15 minute short on the band’s reunion in New York.

Live Earth, set up by Al Gore, will also feature Fall Out Boy, AFI, Kelly Clarkson, Smashing Pumpkins. The Police, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beastie Boys, Black Eyed Peas, Foo Fighters, Bloc Party and others.

Head Automatic hit the UK

Daryl Palumbo’s Head Automatica will be coming over to the UK for a new tour, beginning in Southampton.

The band have had to cancel their last two tours of the UK, with Lostprophets and The Used, due to Palumbo’s Crohn’s Disease. However, for this set of dates the singer will be coming to the country early to acclimatise and minimise the chances of his Crohn’s flaring up. Check them out at one of these dates:

Dizzee Rascal works with Lily!

Dizzee Rascal has reveleaed that Alex Turner and Lily Allen will both feature on his new album Maths & English.

The album will be released on June 2nd and see Lily Allen on the track Wanna Be with Arctic Monkey Turner sampled on Temptation. Dizzee has appeared on the Monkey’s recent B-side Temptation Greets You Like A Naughty Friend. The full tracklisting is:

Strummer film soundtrack details

The soundtrack for the film Let Fury Have the Hour: The Punk Rock Politics of Joe Strummer has been announced.

The film adaptation of the book of the same name by Antonino D’Ambrosio has been produced by actor Tim Robbins and plans to examine the influence of the Clash and other like minded politically motivated musicians.

The sound track will feature Ted Leo, Public Enemy’s Chuck D, Ben Gibbard from Death Cab For Cutie, Moby and Mos Def with Radio 4 providing the score for the film itself.

New UNKLE album incoming!

UNKLE are back with a new album this summer when they release War Stories.

The new album is promising to integrate rock influences into its fourteen tracks. Most of the instrumentation on the album will be played live and will feature guest vocalists Josh Homme, 3D from Massive Attack, Ian Astbury from The Cult and many more. James Lavelle also makes his vocal debut with the song Hold My Hand.

War Stories will be released on James’ Surrender All label and features a set of specially commissioned paintings by 3D. The limited edition version of the CD will feature a 50 page booklet, with the regular edition holding a 32 page booklet.

Morello’s Nightwatchman ready to go

Tom Morello‘s solo album has been set a June release date.

The former Audioslave guitarist, currently back playing live with recently reformed Rage Against The Machine, sings and plays acoustic guitar for the first time on the 13 track album under the guise of The Nightwatchman.

The album will be released on June 11th and Morello will play some select UK dates around the release.

New Raconteurs material promised

The Raconteurs are readying their new album according to Jack White.

White, who is also gearing up for the release of the White Stripes’ new album Icky Thump, has said that his other band are currently recording their second album, and have written 12 songs so far.

The plan is to release the album in 2008 and record as much material as possible before White goes off on tour for Icky Thump.
