Fergie isn’t endorsed…

We reported last week that Fergie was being paid to namecheck clothes brand Candie’s in her lyrics.

However, a spokesman for the singer has denied that deal saying that she does have a deal with Candie’s but it has “nothing whatsoever to do with the creation of her music”.

Ok, but we still fucking hate her.

The Enemy shoot up

The Enemy have decided to launch their album today with what can be described as the most boring viral game of the year so far.

We are sure that it’s not the bands decision but in this day and age delivering something this basic should be laughed at. We’ll Live And Die In These Towns‘ is out today.

Metallica frontman is a terrorist?

hetfieldMetallica’s James Hetfield was denied entry into Luton airport yesterday after security muppets, who probably think Coldplay are the best band in the world, stopped him from leaving the airport due to his ‘Taliban-like beard’. This is the funniest thing I’ve heard in ages!

Once Hetfield explained that he was in Metallica, security eventually let him leave after a short interrogation.

I think if he had been wearing a ‘Kill Em All’ t-shirt, he would have been fucked. There’s no getting away from cavity searches with that combo on.

Glue plan new album

Glue recently blogged on their MySpace about working on a new album.

The record, which will be a follow up to last year’s Catch As Catch Can, is the culmination of the band’s constant touring and wish to “shake things up a bit”. Rapper Adeem stated that the band way of working doesn’t involve sleep or sunlight and that is how it’s going to continue on the new release. He went on to say:

“All I can say is that this album will be recorded differently than the past 3, the sound will not be what you expect, and we are trying to have this done sooner than later. Maybe there will be 2 new albums worked on at the same time? I’m telling you, it’s all about the ideas…big ideas.”

Avril being sued

Pointless chump Avril Lavigne is being sued by a songwriting team.

Tommy Dunbar of The Rubinoos said that the Canadian warbling machine’s track Girlfriend is a rip off of their 1978 track I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend and are suing the co-writer of Girlfriend, Dr. Luke and Avril’s publishing company.

Why anyone would want to admit that their music sounds like her toss is beyond us, but here’s hoping they rinse her for a load of cash anyway.
