Superstar rapper and producer Kanye West has asked Crossfire favourites Peter, Bjorn and John to play as his backing band when he gigs in Sweden next month.
Kanye is set to play the Way Out West on August 11th and has worked his magic on the Swedish trio’s huge hit Young Folks, which they are re-releasing in the UK this September.
Meanwhile, Peter, Bjorn and John have just kicked off their US tour, ending on the 24th.
Epitaph Records have uploaded footage of the band live from the Warped Tour in the US that the band have been on for the last 3 weeks.
The UK riot have walked onto the hottest tour ever with shows in car parks in front of hundreds of American punks in extreme heat! Gallows next single ‘Belly of a Shark‘ will be released in September with a new video recorded in California during the first week of the Warped Tour.

Yeah, it’s a re-release. What the fuck you gonna do about it? If you missed ‘SSS‘ first time around, then your 2006 would have been somewhat musically lacking; so be thankful to those good folks at Earache Records, because they’re doing most of you one hell of a favour.
SSS stands for Short Sharp Shock, and frankly, this Liverpool quartet couldn’t have picked a more appropriate name. They like their old-school thrash. They like their old-school hardcore. They like to fuse the two into razor-sharp, warp-speed slices of brutality like ‘Damaged Goods‘ and ‘Monster’, and then top it all off with a brilliantly obnoxious, fuck-you attitude (which I think is starting to rub off on me). This EP fuels the release of the new Ween full length album “La Cucaracha“. Here is Dean Ween’s take on it: “The album kicks ass, I’m not really sure what else to say about it other than I really can’t wait for it’s release. There’s not a wasted minute of music on there. We wrote and recorded a ton of material before we whittled it down to it’s present state. We recorded the album to two inch 24 track tape and it sounds amazing. As always, it was produced and mixed by Andrew Weiss.”

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the classic Sex Pistols album, Never Mind The Bollocks, it will be re-released as a series of special vinyl pressings.
Re-creating all the original artwork from the first editions’ front, back and onbody, and finished in heavy-weight paper sleeves, Virgin Records will be issuing the band’s four classic singles – “Anarchy In The UK”, “God Save The Queen”, “Pretty Vacant” and “Holidays In The Sun” through out October on a weekly basis.
The series will finish with the release of the album in heavy weight vinyl with a seven-inch insert of the track “Submission” and poster – just as the album was originally released on October 28th 1977.

The Minneapolis underground kings will be releasing a new Sad Clown Bad Dub CD, which they bring out on tour with them, and have put the track Sunshine from it up for free download.
