The group, who release their Splitting The Atom EP on October 5th will donate a percentage of the ticket fees for the show at Hammersmith Apollo on February 11th 2010, to the HOPING Foundation. Special guests are set to be announced soon and tickets go on sale on September 25th at 9am.

UK hip hop wildmen Foreign Beggars announced their UK tour this week.

The Beats headphones were the invention of Dr. Dre and Interscope Chairman Jimmy Iovine with both men wanting to deliver normal headphones that could deliver sound replicated from the studio. Dre has said of the headphones:
“Artists and producers work hard in the studio perfecting their sound, but people can’t really hear it with normal headphones. With Beats, people are going to hear what the artists hear and listen to the music the way they should – the way I do.”
Cancer Bats have announced details on their new album.
The band will name the record Bears, Mayors, Scraps And Bones and have said it will be released in early 2010. Liam Cormier said that the album will sound like “Glenn Danzig going on a camping trip with Black Flag’s Greg Ginn, a reanimated Vincent Price and the Beastie Boys.”
