American Slang is released on June 14th and the band will play the following dates:

Damon Albarn has said he wants to record more tracks with Blur.
The band released Fool’s Day for Record Store Day to much acclaim and Damon, currently rolling out his Gorillaz live show, said:
“I’m definitely going to do a few more of those seven-inches…I love the no pressure aspect…We can’t do it all the time…So I don’t want anyone to think there’s an album coming soon, it’s not possible, but we’ve got songs!”
Stone Sour have announced some album details.
The record will be called Audio Secrecy and will be released this summer. The band have produced it with Nick Raskulinecz and Corey Taylor of the group said:
“Audio Secrecy is the summation of everything we want, everything we crave and everything we fight for. It’s metal, rock, slow, soft, hard, fast, bitter, beautiful and most importantly, it’s REAL. You can’t get an album like this out of a band that doesn’t exist. We’re throwing caution out the damn window.”
Avenged Sevenfold have made a preview of their new single Nightmare available online.
You can hear the clip of the track, which will be released as a digital single on May 18th, here. The song comes from the band’s new album which expected on July 27th.
Underoath have announced their new drummer.
Daniel Davison, formerly of Norma Jean, will replace Aaron Gillespie who left the band recently. Davison will also join the band in the studio for the recording of their new album, which is due to start this month with a late 2010 release date in mind.

Interpol have announced that bassist Carlos Dengler has left the band, following the completion of their fourth studio album.
Carlos D is arguably the band’s best known member, known for his idiosyncratic dress sense and of course his prominent and memorable bass lines. The band revealed on their website that the split was amicable, and they wished Carlos all the best on his future projects.
Interpol, meanwhile, have completed work on their new album, which is set to be released later this year. Check out lead single ‘Lights’ from the widget below;
