More acts have been announced for this year’s Download festival, with grunge legends Alice In Chains being the latest addition. Alongside AIC will be Funeral For A Friend, All-American Rejects, Coheed & Cambria, Ginger and the Sonic Circus, Alexisonfire, Throwdown and Engerica.
The festival, which takes place at Donnington in June, already has Tool, Metallica and Guns N Roses headlining for what should prove to be an awesome weekend in the sun [or rain, seeing as it is in England].

Isaac Hayes, the voice of sex-monster Chef in South Park has sensationally quit the show after he declared that the creators should have respect for religious beliefs. The episode which tipped the balance for Hayes was an attack on Scientology, a religion he shares with the likes of Tom Cruise, and though he didn’t explicitly state this as the reason, it is widely believed to be the case.
