New Gnarls album in the works

Dangermouse has recently told the NME that there is a follow-up to the amazingly successful St Elsewhere album and that he and Cee-Lo, aka Gnarls Barkley, have already been bouncing ideas off each other for the new album.

The producer said that the first album took almost 3 years to complete and they were adamant that they wouldn’t be rushed into the next one. He said:

“We’re going to do it the same way we did before – we’re going to do it at our pace and see what happens. When we get into the groove with things, we do the songs in bunches, and so we know that all we need to do it is go back and start working. If we love what’s coming out, then we’ll do another record; if we don’t love it the way we loved this one…then we won’t do it.”

Roadie Runner – Dirty Pretty Things Game!

Dirty Pretty Things are supporting the Make Roads Safe campaign this year and have participated in a brand new amazingly addictive free game if you visit www.roadierunner.com

The campaign is set up to raise awareness world wide on the amount of innocent young people who are killed on them every day. 3000 people, and 500 children, are killed every day on the world’s roads and someone dies in a road crash every 30 seconds. Politicians are ignoring global road deaths and this is one way of getting their attention so they can take the matter more seriously.

Hopefully this game should help and winners will also be able to win tickets to the forthcoming Dirty Pretty Things Tour in November.

Panic! Diss Motley Crue

Panic! At The Disco have taken a swipe at Motley Crue, claiming that they have stolen the P!ATD boys’ ideas. Spencer Smith, the drummer in P!ATD stated that Crue have taken on some of the performers used by P!ATD on a previous tour, and that this happened because one of Crue read a review of a P!ATD performance and saw they were doing everything Crue were trying to pull off. He then had another little dig by saying:

“When you’re like, 50 years old, you can’t come up with any good ideas anyway. You’ve just gotta pay for other people’s ideas.”

Gather round the music playground and start that chanting: FIGHT. FIGHT. FIGHT. FIGHT.
