Dangermouse has recently told the NME that there is a follow-up to the amazingly successful St Elsewhere album and that he and Cee-Lo, aka Gnarls Barkley, have already been bouncing ideas off each other for the new album.
The producer said that the first album took almost 3 years to complete and they were adamant that they wouldn’t be rushed into the next one. He said:
“We’re going to do it the same way we did before – we’re going to do it at our pace and see what happens. When we get into the groove with things, we do the songs in bunches, and so we know that all we need to do it is go back and start working. If we love what’s coming out, then we’ll do another record; if we don’t love it the way we loved this one…then we won’t do it.”

The Pixies film, LoudQUIETloud, which shows a back-stage in depth look at the band’s reunion in 2004, will be released on DVD on November 6th.
And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead will be releasing their So Divided album on November 13th.
Scottish newcomers The Dykeenies are to release their new EP, Waiting For Go, on November 20th. The double A side single New Ideas/Will It Happen Tonight which was released in July this year features brought them airplay and support from the likes of Steve Lamacq.
Whilst no details are yet known about the new release, Turbonegro are working on the new album at the Fagerborg Studio in Sweden.
Blondie’s Debbie Harry is to make an apperance at the legendary CBGBs before it closes this weekend.
Californian punks Rancid will be kicking their way across the UK in a tour which will run alongside the free online release of Tim Armstrong’s debut solo album. The support will be from The Unseen who will also play a few headline dates whilst over here. The dates are:
Panic! At The Disco have taken a swipe at Motley Crue, claiming that they have stolen the P!ATD boys’ ideas. Spencer Smith, the drummer in P!ATD stated that Crue have taken on some of the performers used by P!ATD on a previous tour, and that this happened because one of Crue read a review of a P!ATD performance and saw they were doing everything Crue were trying to pull off.
