MGMT in London – webisode 1
MGMT visited London recently and rolled by the Crossfire office. Here’s the first installment of the filming we managed to get done down Portobello Rd.

Stephen Malkmus will release a new album in March.
The former Pavement man will be releasing Real Emotional Trash with The Jicks and will then head out to Shepherds Bush Empire on June 5th to showcase the record. And that’s about it, so have a Pavement video!

Black Kids dates
Black Kids will be releasing their new single I’m Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance With You on April 7th.
The much-talked about band will also be playing three headline shows at the ICA [March 12th and 13th] and ULU [June 18th] as well as touring with Kate Nash and Bernard Butler overseeing production duties on their upcoming record.

Terror complete new album
Hardcore band Terror have completed their new album.
The band will be releasing the album this year as the follow up to 2007’s Rhythm Amongst The Chaos EP. Bass player Jonathan Burke said of the new record:
“We finished tracking and doing vocals a few days ago and have been working with Zeuss on mixes for the past few days. Like every band says about their newest shit, it’s without a doubt the best and hardest Terror record to date. Expect some new Terror flavor, some of the old and some unexpected flavor.”

Club banger Beeper sees Sinden team up with The Count Of Monte Cristal [aka Hervé] and throws Kid Sister on the vocals. A brilliant song, a great video and it will be released on Domino on March 24th with an album to follow.

Jimmy Eat World join Download bill
Jimmy Eat World are the latest band to be added to the Download fesitval line up.
The band will be joined on the bill by Chris Cornell, Jonathan Davis, 36 Crazyfists and Job For A Cowboy. The event, headlined by Kiss, Lostprophets and The Offspring, will also feature Motorhead, H.I.M., Disturbed, Incubus and In Flames.
