High On Fire release new album

High On Fire will release their new album in March.

Snakes For The Devine will be released on March 8th. on Century Media Records. It’s the band’s fifth album and was produced by Greg Fidelman, who was the man behind the boards of Slayer’s World Painted Blood. The tracklist for the album is:

Fake Problems announce UK tour

Crossfire favourites Fake Problems are back in the UK in April.

The band, who supported Frank Turner at the end of last year, will be playing 11 shows in April as well as the European Groezrock Festival [alongside the likes of A.F.I., Hatebreed, Bad Religion and Sum 41]. The full list of dates is:

Pendulum to preview new material in London

Pendulum will headline the Earstorm night at London’s Matter on January 22nd it has been announced.

The band will be previewing material from their upcoming album Immersion during their DJ set and will be joined on the bill by Zane Lowe, Sinden, Herve, Sub Focus, Noisia, The Glitch Mob and more. Tickets are available from www.matterlondon.com so get in quick.

Grab a 10 year old Aesop Rock demo

Blockhead and Aesop Rock have put a “New Year’s Gift” up for download.

The producer and rapper who worked closely on Aesop’s Float and Labor Days album have put a 10 year old demo called Jinx Planet up for download. All Tomorrow’s Parties have announced that curator and Simpsons nutjob Matt Groening have added Iggy and the Stooges to the lineup for the weekend at Butlins in Minehead on May 7th-9th 2010. Built To Spill were also added to the line up today alongside Coco Rosie, James Chance and Les Contortions, Thee Oh Sees, Juana Molina, Lightning Dust and Konono N1.
