Having recently hosted Mount Kimbie’s album launch, Plan B are set to pull out all the stops for another champagne-and-body-popping night to celebrate the release of Kode 9’s DJ Kicks compilation.
The album is dropping on the 22nd June and the party will be on Friday 25th June. A couple copies of the album have been set aside for the night and will be given to ticketholders.

Berlin punks Beatsteaks are due to release their fifth album entitled ‘Limbo Messiah‘ on 12th July. The band’s singer, Adam Teutoburg-Weiss has made the band’s intention with the new album crystal clear, announcing that ‘we wanted to set off another couple of bombs again.’
If the album’s leading single, Jane Became Insane, due out on July 19th, is anything to go by then it’s safe to trust Adam’s explosive promise. Check out the music video for the song here…

Godspeed You! Black Emperor have announced details of a UK tour in December.
The band, who will curate ATP’s Nightmare Before Christmas which takes place between December 3rd and 5th, will play four dates, ending up at the Troxy in London on December 13th. The full dates are:

Eels have posted a new track online.
The band are set to release their new album Tomorrow Morning on August 23rd but have put a teaser online with the track Looking Up available for free download on their website here. According the sources, the album is the most uplifting album of Eels’ career.
Mastodon will release a six song EP this month.
The tracks are taken from their film score for upcoming comic-book film Jonah Hex, which stars Josh Brolin and Megan Fox. The EP will be released on June 29th and will have the tracks Death March and Train Assault on them, amongst others.
