Brighton’s locals are holding another jam, this time at The Level with prizes from Flip and Death Skateboards on Saturday 30th July. £2 entry on the day, bargain.
Death Skateboards have announced today that Sunday July 10th will now be christened as Death Day at Shoreham’s concrete bowl. Expect Death Skateboards and Urethane team rider to be present including Benson, Steak, Rhys Grogan, Boots, Calow, Moss, Patrick, Garbett, Questions, Nowik, Sweeney, The Plasterer, Cov Sid and various guests. This should be one hell of a session.
The jam will be followed by Duane Peter’s band the U.S Bombs playing live at The Hydrant, so get your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment on the night. Spread that word.
Nottingham’s skate scene are gearing up for a day carnage on July 17th. Battle at the Bay will be held at Lady Bay Skatepark in West Bridgford with local DJ’s, demo’s and comps for all.
It’s just £2 to enter/free to watch and kicks off from 11am with prizes from Heathen, Eleven, Nise, Nonstop, Adio and Unabomber Skateboards. Get down there and support it.
The Creature Skateboards team will be visiting the UK in the next 2 weeks and will be shredding parks across the UK from June 11th-16th. The line up of US guests is monsterous so expect some incredible sessions going down at Clissold, Hastings and other spots listed on this flyer. UK team riders will also be on the road including newly appointed ripper, Ben Devine who joins the Creature UK set up this week. Plan for this as it looks to be a blast.
The Supra team are heading back to the UK next week for another tour. Expect Ali Boulala, Terry Kennedy, Lizard King, Chad Muska, Stevie Williams, Erik Ellington, Jim Greco, Matt Mumford, Tom Penny, Furby, Spencer Hamilton, Keelan Dadd, and Boo Johnson to be in your local area in the following locations.

The last 2 Downtown Showdown events that Vans have rolled out in Europe in the last 2 years have been amazing to watch from afar so it’s welcoming news today that this fantastic gathering will be hosted on our doorstep this year!
The VANS European Downtown Showdown event has been announced today to be held on the Saturday 20th August in Old Spitalfields Market, London and will be a free event for all. 50’000 Euro’s will be up for grabs for those pro riders invited to partake so get this in your diary and let your parents be aware in case they have plans to get out of the country in the school holidays!

Blackpool’s Ramp City skate park has been announced as the host venue for this year’s Vans Shop Riot. Following last year’s comp at Leeds, various shop teams will be congregating at Woody’s gaff for the annual showdown on 12th June 2011.
The winning shop will be sent all expenses paid to the European shop final in Paris.
‘Yesterday’s Reality‘ is the latest scene video from Milton Keynes and has been in the pipeline for quite some time. After five or so years since the first filming session, Giles ‘Brownie’ Brown has finished a whopping fifty minute video that’s set to re-invigorate Milton Keynes into the forefront of the UK’s skate scene radar.
The premiere is on Friday 28th January at The Buszy. You know where. All ages welcome but ID will be required at the bar.

After a rough patch last year that questioned the survival of Pioneer, the skatepark are welcoming on in 2011 optimistically with a super fun skate and art jam on January 29th.
