Irish heads stand up! Touchwood Indoor Skatepark in Cork will be opening tomorrow on Friday 10th September.
So if you’re over 18 (we understand there’s to be as much messy partying as there is skating on the night so it’s an over 18 event only) then head on down to 36 Patrick’s Quay, Cork and raise a drink to Nicky O’Keefe and Mike Keane who have worked hard to provide Cork with a quality indoor skatepark.

Another Gravity creation will celebrating it’s official opening this month. The Parks Skatepark in North Shields will be officially open on Saturday 21st August.
Confirmed skaters for the day are Ross McGouran, Manhead and Marc Churchill. Peep the flyer below for more info.
Thornes Park in Wakefield will be hosting Gravity’s 2010 Concrete Carnival and there are a vast amount of sponsors giving away stuff so you better be writing this down: it’s on Sunday 22nd August.
It all kicks off at 11am so get yourselves down as there are planned comps for all ages with prizes from every skateboarding company you can see on the flyer below.
The CSC are quite appropriately rinsing Cardiff’s new plaza of concrete and wonder and are concluding a month of shredding with the grandly titled CSC World Championships on August 30th. How much do you want to bet that CSC are going to win?
With the usual skate, beer, barbeque and giveaways in store this is definitely another event you should be adding to your must-attend lists.

The ham is screaming for a jam and on September 5th at Shoreham Bowl that’s exactly what’s going down.
There’s £1000 in the Ham Jam prize purse so be sure to get there at 10am to register, be you under 16, a pro/am or a master (over 40, fat or both) you’re welcome to get stuck in. Under 16 bowlriders can compete for free too, so get down there and get shredding.
There’s also the usual summer jam BBQ and soundsystem, it’s a guaranteed good time.
Hairy Bob can still boast that he has probably the best thing in Scarborough and he’s probably right. To celebrate its first Jamiversary they’ll be a big jam (naturally) some live bands and some grub at the park on August 21st.
Hyde Park in Leeds will be hosting a sausage fest to remember at the Back To The Sausage Jam II on August 21st.
Welcome, the new skater-owned-store in Leeds will be sponsoring the event alongside Sore, Sidewalk and Route One. So expect a lot of goods and a lot of fun as this is a full-blown jam. No rules, just a lot of people out skating. Great Scott!
