Klub Kerrang! @ Koko Pt. 3

Band pics thanks to Niki Kova’cs – all others by Z-Ed

Koko’s 3rd injection of Klub Kerrang! at Koko was another successful night in Camden, London. Live sets from Malpractice and Kids In Glass Houses bellowed out to fans in the main room whilst Kerrang! DJ’s Simon Young and Emma Johnson poured rock into ear drums in the main room.

The wonderful DJ, Talita Two-Shoes kept the metal and punk flowing in the Crossfire room upstairs in the Gallery bar where Crossfire filmer buff Alan Christensen found himself hugging the walls to Turbonegro’s ‘All My Friends Are Dead‘.

Zac Slack dropped a set of hardcore, garage rock and some classics and will see you alongside his nemesis DJ James Sherry who is back in April.

Whilst we rocked Camden, James was aledgedly spotted in Texas with Gallows wading through the dancefloor after pissing his jeans! Turn on the light in the mens room next time buddy!

Crossfire will see you at the next Klub Kerrang! which is scheduled for Saturday APRIL 21st, don’t miss it.

Klub Kerrang! @ Koko Pt1

The very first Klub Kerrang! at Koko in Camden, London exploded onto the rock scene on Saturday 27th February 2007 in style.

With guest DJ’s James Sherry and Emma Johnson on the decks making sure the main room swung from the rafters and DJ sets from both Biffy Clyro and The Bronx in the lounge, Koko was subjected to the loudest night of the year so far, especially with Bassknives and the infamous Gallows taking to the stage live.

The Crossfire room provided all the underground tunes needed for a rocking night out courtesy of DJ Zac Slack and booze was flying around like pies from the gangsters of Bugsy Malone!

Every mont we will bring you a gallery from our residency at Klub Kerrang!which now runs in London every 3rd Saturday of the month. See you on the 17th February for the next one – you may find your self on this page next!

Photo’s exclusive to Crossfire from Niki Kova’cs and Jen Saul.

20/94 Launch Party

Covent Garden hosted a launch party for the collaboration between DC Shoes and New Era caps on Thursday 19th November at The Hospital.

Free liquor and canapes were served in the clinical, smokeless room where ltd edition decks hung from the walls until they were stolen and all the booze had run dry and DJ Goldie had left the crime scene…evidence below.

Jet Set 2006!

I can hear you all mumbling ‘what’s the Jet Set then?‘ – but by the time you get to the bottom of this pile of pics, you will be enquiring about the next one – no doubt about it!

Put together by an anonomous band of idiots (DJ Ed Pitt’s words not mine!) The Jet Set Club in London is an international mecca for hedonists worldwide and has been going for over 5 years. Every year post summer, the crew all fly out to a European destination and basically ‘have it’.

I missed last years and the year before but this year, i was prepared, but not mentally….The crew had hired an 18th Century converted Water Mill in the Valley’s of Carcasonne, France where vineyards surround the lush green forests, villagers honk for a smile as they pass by and goats graze until they DJ’ing on the soundsystem by the pool!. I will let the pictures do the talking on this 7 day, out of control bender…enjoy!

The lovely Caroline and Mimi shared balls

The Traffic Light Club is incoming!
Carey and Charlotte go straight to green!

Don’t ask! Something about the dude From Dusk ‘Til Dawn and a bar from Star Wars…
We own Renaud now bitches – come get it!

The seductive light of Jen was mesmerising..

Check out Ed’s duck stance! But watch out for Le Bomb, you may know him…

Norway and Paris lit the Valley gangster style, whilst Lauren was caught red handed

Sophie had a Bugsy Malone moment!

Carey, Ed and Luke = Players

Luke in a wig brought smiles
all the way back to Ladbroke Grove!

The champagne taste-off was dope!
But who won? Read on…

Andy gambled and won Laurens heart

Toe protectors are the new rage,
some are unconvinced..

‘Got any Sharpe’s?’
The battle of the Raspberries was mental!

Cute smiles all round from the ladies…
Tawa mate, what gwan!?

Virgil escaped from Epsom and yelled:
“Roy…the magic iron was this big i tell ya!”

Zac & John are ying and yang
whilst David and Kia save the day..

Caroline, Marissa & Sly get jiggy wid it
Mimi, Charlotte & Aleesha pout for Sambuca..

Ricki’s tongue is no match for Lukes!

“Smell the goodness” – “Ain’t that lovely?!”

You heard it here first..
Nadine and Carey’s Bar is the lick!

The pool catered for some serious sessions and Sly won the Champagne Supernova!

Cheap Volner still rocks though Cassanova!
See you next year?!

etnies Girl party

On the eve of Monday 31st July etnies Girl threw a party in honour of their new Spring 07 range of clothing at London’s CC Club.

The new range was styled by Uju Eze showing that there is much more crossfover flair to the brands clothing designs out there than ever before.

Etnies have gone down this route to show the maturity built since launching female apparel back in 1999.

Guests partied into the night tucking into miniature burgers, and fish & chips, whilst Bacardi mixed up some summer cocktails. Entertainment was laid on by Yes King Records who provided a live set with female vocalist Ayak, Baby Chan and Tor and tunes were later laid down by DJ Charlotte from Guilty Pleasures, Sweet Mayhem and Resident at Bowery Dandies – DJ Sophie .

Relentless/Crossfire Boat Party 09.03.06

Welcome to rawkus, unadulterated malarkey captured through beer goggles in London Town.

The Night Raid can only be described as precision bombing whilst flying at low altitude, much due to the intake of strong liquor and decent tunes.

On this occasion we observed blatant punk energy from The Paddingtons and upstarts Keiko accompanied by the delightful tunes of DJ’s Eddy Temple Morris, Iain Baker, James Sherry, Sami and Max. All of this malarkey was aided by the wonderful Renegade Burlesque to dazzle our troops on foot at the head of the mission.

It goes without saying that these missions are covert and are only attended by the fuel of word of mouth through this very portal you are staring into right now. All Night Raids would be incomplete without debauched Tight Units….a rare breed in today’s civilisation but often found in this very space.

We aim and please with precision bombing on suspect targets…..you are next.
