Look back in time to the Albany Snake Run based in Albany on the Southern Ocean about 409 km southeast of Perth, Australia. This new documentary depicts the history of world’s oldest community funded skate park, a concrete haven that has heritage listing that has hosted served thousands of skaters in its time.
The Snake Run was built by Albany Senior High School students who formed a committee and opened in February 1976 by American skateboarding legend Russ Howell. Get the teas on and take this story in. Brilliant stuff.
