The Libertines re-unite!

Carl Barat and Pete Doherty reunited last night at Doherty’s An Evening With Pete Doherty gig.

The Libertines became one again and played 13 songs at the Hackney Empire. Doherty said, during the second half of the show, “You’ve been waiting for this moment. Ladies and gentlemen Mr Carlos Barat…only joking! What do you expect for 25 quid?” at which point Barat came out on stage.

Seeming friendly in between songs, they played What Katie Did, Time For Heroes, Albion and The Delaney amongst other material.

De Heathen back yeah

Pon de wall! Now, despite the Bob Marley introduction, this article has very little to do with him. Well, maybe the smooth flow aspect…

After endless tweaking and preparations, Heathen have unveiled their debut set of wheels. Weighing in at 54mm and 58mm means that everyone’s catered for, ledge technicians and pool lurkers, whoever you are.

Big Mark is already in with the spiel that these wheels are “smooth and fucking fast”, so get to it!
