MGMT verses supermodels

Kasabian go for perms
Kasabian are to grow perms to celebrate their favourite footballer.
Serge Pizzorno of the band is aiming to persuade his bandmates to grow perms so that they can hero worship legendary Colombian goalkeeper Rene Higuita, who became famous after he performed his scorpion kick against England in 1995.
Pizzorno has explained this by saying his band’s new album “sounds like a scorpion kick”. Right.
Led Zep tour in the works
Velvet Revolver have been slated to support Led Zep on their rumoured tour.
Duff McKagan of Velvet Revolver claimed that, though there are no specific dates for the tour, his band are going to be the support as and when it is announced. Speaking to the BBC, McKagan said:
“I understand that we have it, although I imagine there will be plenty of bands prepared to kick and punch us out of the way for the privilege.”
