Watch this trailer to get an insight into how much work went into the project between local skateboarders, Milton Keynes Council and Motive Skateboards plus a bunch of great footage from the late 80’s and 90s. It’s a great story and should give you enough belief to make this happen in your own town.
In 2007 Lovenskate went to Boliva and made a documentary called Super Jumbo. Now, as an early treat for 2011 you can watch the whole thing in full via Babelgum.
The video covers Lovenskate’s journey into the Bolivian skate scene as they traverse the mountains of La Paz and the jungles of Santa Cruz . It’s half an hour (advance warning to you multi-tab Firefox generation users out there) but absolutely worth a watch for anyone wanting a little insight into the kind of skate scene hitherto undocumented by western eyes. Complete with interviews and footage from countless locals this is proper top notch stuff. Nice one Stu!

Brisbane four-piece Violent Soho have posted footage of what the happenings are during the making of their new self-titled album.
The album is out on August 2nd, and you can have a look at the studio video diaries just down there on this very page. There’s three of them and each one is packed with everything you could imagine would happen when the cameras are turned on an Australian band in Wales. Not too sure what that this exactly but rest-assured these videos are full of it.
