Take in the phenomenal work carried out to build StreetDome, a new skate facility that opened this weekend in Haderslev, Denmark.
This project first started taking shape as long ago as 2006 when Rune Gilfberg and Ebbe Lykke (Glifberg+Lykke) were asked to get involved for their expertise providing quality designs and architect skills to bring Morten Hansen’s concept of a modern urban space for culture to life. The pair started work in 2010 and designed this incredible layout that even sees the sides of the main indoor weather-proof house (the Streetdome) built with skateable banks, bowls and pools with high speed transition lines, and a street plaza with plenty of space, ledges, stair sets, rails and other fun obstacles.
Take all of this in and raise a glass to everyone involved. Booking info can be found here.
