French and Fos Unite

Two of Britain’s greatest artwork exports, French and Fos, have teamed up to present a new exhibition Stateside – Conventional Weapons.

This show is a celebration of the gruesome and twisted like only Fos and French can conjure up. So, if you’re in Brooklyn, New York Saturday 3rd February, make sure you stop by the skateshop KCDC from 8pm onwards and get a look in.

N.B. You must be 21 years or older with ID – I guess that means there some horrific depictions splashed with booze…

Gallows hit cover of Kerrang!

Gallows get the cover of Kerrang this week.

Watford quintet and this week’s Kerrang! cover stars Gallows are set to bring blood and chaos back to the streets of Britain for a headline tour in March. Dates are as follows:

March:

Friday 2nd – Manchester Roadhouse
Saturday 3rd – Glasgow Barfly
Sunday 4th – Birmingham Bar Academy
Monday 5th – Cardiff Barfly
Tuesday 6th – London 100 Club

The band are also set to take their black knuckles and broken teeth overseas for the first time with an appearance at SXSW in Austin, Texas on March 17th, followed by a stint on the Warped Tour throughout June, July and August.

‘Orchestra Of Wolves’ is out now on In At The Deep End Records. The band play Klub Kerrang! at Koko in London on January 27th.

Support for Brand New announced

Snow Patrol lose drummer to injury

Snow Patrol’s drummer will not be on tour of Europe and Australia.

After reports of Travis Barker pulling out of his band’s tour due to injury, Snow Patrol’s Jonny Quinn is having to do the same thing. He broke his arm whilst snowboarding meaning he will be out of action for quite a while thus missing the band’s jaunts to Europe and Autralia from March onwards.

The former drummer with Therapy?, Graham Hopkins, will fill in for the duration of the recovery.

Morello solo project is go!

Audioslave guitarist has announced details of his first solo album.

Morello, who will team up again with Rage Against The Machine at Coachella, will be singing lead vocals for the first time on his new project The Nightwatchman. Whilst he has been playing under that name for a few years, this will be the first time he’s recorded an album as the Nightwatchman.

The album will contain 13 tracks and will be called One Man Revolution with a release date set for April 24th in the States.
