It’s true, the Southbank will be rinsed for another year as we have decided to run another 7-Set Comp at Southbanks most famous set of stairs. The definite date for this jam is Saturday 24th June and will kick off from 12pm – whenever we are done.

The comp is promoted in association with The Extreme Sports Channel program Genex and will be shown within the next 2 months, so watch this space.
But get this date in your dairy and remind yourself of what chaos went down last year by clicking here for the full written feature with images or here for the Southbank video
Send this link to everyone you know who skates and post it on ALL forums today. It will be another corker!
Did I miss the press release that said 2006 would be the year of Bowl riding..? I don’t know, but one thing is for sure and that is the spherical transition carnage has been relentless since January 1st!
You can’t knock something when it’s been around two whole decades dedicated to what we love- skateboarding.

Interact skatepark in Burnley has been busy in the woodshop for this year’s endless summer. Most of the new obstacles are finished including various modern takes on ledge and quarter pipe design.
Those of you who skated in the early 90’s may well have bumped into Richard File skating around Sutton and Croydon with Curtis McCann and Paul Shier. Since then, he has worked with James Lavelle with the U.N.K.L.E project, released a bunch of stuff on Mo’Wax Records and co-written the film score to the film Sexy Beast.
