Vans Apparel snaps up Layton and A.V.E

They call it apparel in the USA but us Brits know it as good old fashioned clothing, we all need it to bare the elements of the dialy life, whether in heatwaves or whilst it’s pissing down with rain.

Whilst we bask here in the latter, Vans have been busy snapping up two of their US riders on their skate team to ride for the cloth and welcome Toy Machine rider Johnny Layton who visited our Crossfire Xmas Jam in 2004 and also Anthony Van Engelen whose new Vans pro shoe should hit us in October.

Expect more from their clothing division as it seems they are taking it seriously to give the likes of Element and Volcom a run for their money…more soon.
