Curb Surfers series 2 is due to air Monday August 20th at 9pm on Sky channel 144 (new epg) Sumo TV and www.curbsurfers.com

Events and things coming up this series include:

Gyppo Army and Casual Trip to Dreamlands in Bologna; NASS ’07, the Mystic Cup in Prague, Plan B at Saffron Walden, Duffs Concrete Carnage, the Toy Machine Tour and the Nueu tour as well as edits, shop profiles, rider spotlights sent in etc.

Don’t forget that these guys rely on your help to make Curb Surfers happen. If you have some shit-hot footage you want to send in, you can post it to Curb Surfers, 39 A The Grove, Bearsted, Maidstone, Kent ME14 4JB on DV tape or DVD as an avi, .dv or .mov.

The Harmony’s first video offering Wolfstadt is about to drop, so they’ve organised a whole series of premieres across the UK. Alongside these, there will be the obligatory skate fest during the day before and massive booze-up riot in the evenings.

Yet again, the UK Vans team cleared up at another skate competition, this time the Newquay Boardmasters that took place this weekend.

The final results of the street comp were as follows:

Straight from Queenie the Pigeon’s beak, some cooing saying that The Story Store has found itself a new home:

“We’re pleased to say we will be moving the store on the 19th august to a new unit. The address for the new unit is 95-97 Division Street Aberdeen Court Unit 3 and 4. Yes, that’s right, a carnival to celebrate all things concrete. Like multistory carparks, pavements, and bollards. Or maybe just a skate event that’ll have the same effect as a jackhammer and destroy a small part of Cornwall.

The Vans Concrete Carnival will hit up Kernow’s finest facilities in Penzance and Hayle on August 25th and 26th, with a sponsored and unsponsored comp, Master’s (read ‘oldies’) division, and best trick with pirzes being thrown in from Creature, Oakley, and Independent.

News just in- JJ Rousseau has officially parted ways with Euro lads Cliché in a mutual decision.

Cliché turned JJ pro way back when, and he has been ripping ever since, but apparently the split is due to an old couple-style ‘being with each other too long’ feeling. Rumours are already flying across the Internet of where JJ will end up, but that’s just Internet rumours isn’t it?

Good luck for the future JJ.

Well deserved because he’s been killing it for ages and has style to boot, Silas Baxter Neal has finally gone pro for Habitat.

His latest ad will ‘officially’ announce it but everyone already knows anyway, but for proof that Silas has earned his top spot, check out some of his footage on the Habitat website

United By Fate, Globe’s series of films featuring all the members of the Globe team, is back this time with the bearded messiah Chris Haslam pretty much destroying all humanity with ridiculous skateboarding.

Episode 2 is out on August 15th, but you can see the trailer for it online at www.unitedbyfate.tv. Whilst there you can also see Episode 1, which you should have already, and if not I pity you.

The Meanwhile Gap Jam that Crossfire delivered this year continues to get even more coverage this month with a fresh edit from Andy Evans appearing over at the freesports website MPORA this week.

If you are looking for news on the Meanwhile 2 rebuild, designs are currently being sent around the various peeps that attended the initial planning meeting with Westminster council and once these plans have been finalised we will post them up here for you to check out. Expect good things as the build has to happen in time for launch this December.
