Flip am Willow will join us for an interview here next week. The German rider has been causing a storm in Europe with his recent video parts, so you’ll be hearing and seeing a lot more from him soon. Check out his part from video magazine Hello21, and get ready for words from the man himself on Crossfire.

Bored of kickflips?
One of those Friday ones here. If you ever get jaded by skateboarding, there are always poor alternatives…thanks Bam.
Broadwater Farm Jam incoming
North London’s bump and banks will get rinsed on Saturday 8th September with a comp, jam and more.
We think this is the first time the Broadwater Farm Skatepark has thrown an event so get down there and eat some darn good BBQ food and get down to their soundsystem if the India Summer has legs. Nearest Tube: Wood Green or Bruce Grove overground innit.

New Harmony decks
All go on The Harmony front recently, as alongside the premiere of their new video Wolfstadt (get down Slam for 6pm tonight for that remember), they have released a new series of decks with some gorgeous artwork.
For more details, check www.theharmony.co.uk
John Rattray is Epicly Later’d
Yes yes yes! Scottish skate stylemonger John Rattray is now featured on the VBS Epicly Later’d series.
You know how these things work by now, so go over to www.vbs.tv and watch John chat about stuff, and do the most casual lipslide ever at the Zero park in part1 and part2 right now.
Kareem Campbell Pro Destructo
Yeah, he’s still skating with all the ease and steez from way back then, and finally Kareem Campbell gets his first Pro truck on Destructo.
The limited edition truck is about as bling as you can get, with an allover black and gold print hanger, and, wait for it, a gold-plated baseplate. So you’d better start saving your pennies if you want a pair of these. And be prepared for pikeys following behind you and scraping up your expensive grindmarks to turn into sovereign rings.
Coppers do kickflips
Err, I don’t think the actual news story even really needs to be added to this, just look at it!
Well, general gist is some member of the Fuzz is attending skateboard workshop things in Hampshire and trying to skate to make the kids think he’s cool. And supposedly stop crime, somehow.
Yeah, that photo really shows how gnarly you are mate. But I bet you still nick anyone trying to skate Portsmouth banks though.
Send Yours – Lost and Found
The Fiasco Skateboarding lot have an edit worthy of a Send Yours spot that was sent to us a month back but we lost it and have only just found it again, sorry Max!
The skaters are Joe Smither, Tom Kiblawi, Max Tomlinson, Joe Paget, Cam Lindley, Lloyd Davies, Adam Keys, Louie Damp & Ross Musgrove and filmed by Max Palmer and Vaughan. Click that image to load it up.
If you have a local scene video hosted you would like us to run or if would like us to use one of your shots for Pic of the Week on this this site, then contact us and send us your best today.
If you’re heading over to Slam on Thursday to see the premiere of The Harmony’s new video Wolfstadt, the time has been changed. The premiere is now on at 6pm, not 7pm as previously stated.
This is due to a shift in the space-time continuum caused by Marty McFly, and has nothing to do with an industry mix up. Honest.
So that’s 6pm at Slam to see Wolfstadt. Turn up and 7pm and you’ll miss it. Synchronise watches.
Freestyle’s latest park builds
Blimey, Freestyle have gone mental and built brand spanking new parks all over the place recently, and they all look fantastic.
Construction has finished on two new parks in Perthshire and Ludlow. The Perthshire one features a sick looking bowl, and the Ludlow one has some interesting Barcelona inspired flatbank-ledge combo, and a ridiculously fun looking hip and hubba creation.
Not only that, Freestyle are also well underway with construction on the Waterford park in Ireland, so keep your eyes peeled for cheap Aer Lingus flights!
