Dyrdek hits the silver screen
Already parading on the small screen with his show Rob and Big, Rob Dyrdek has now been signed up to act alongside Al Pacino and Robert De Niro in their new film ‘Righteous Kill’.
No news on whether Big Black will be joining him on-set or providing bodyguard duties, but he has been released from his DC Shoes contract to concentrate on his own brand Double B

$84,000 for a skate video?
It had better be the best skate video ever made, otherwise the anonymous bidder at Sotheby’s in Melbourne will be pissed off.
The buyer has just paid $84,000 for a DVD by artist Shaun Gladwell which shows slow motion sequences of him on his skateboard, with a stormy Bondi landscape as a backdrop.
However, a quick YouTube search for the artist and filmer throws up footage of the amazing Og De Souza. Is Oggy’s footage making 84grand a pop now?
The technical flip-trickery of Alex Mizurov sealed the deal at the éS Game of SKATE European Finals in Milan.
Not even dropping a single letter, Mizurov took it to the three-way final with Taylor Smith and Chris Cole where he crapped all over them and eventually beat Cole in the heads-up with a switch backside 180 late front-foot flip!
Alex will now head off to the world finals in San Diego to compete in the Amateur World Championships, so good luck to him.
