Cooper and Roe hit the injury list

The summer seems to be taking some of the UK’s best skaters out this year.

Brighton’s DVS rider Louis Cooper has a fractured elbow and Heroin rider Ste Roe has bust a rib moshing to Slayer at Hellfest. (live review coming soon)

Speaking to Crossfire today Cooper said “I was just up at Oxfords cuttslow plaza filming a trick down the hubba with Neddy (SS20 local filmer) when I stuck and my elbow took the blow! Ironic how I’ve been half way around the world for 5 months with hardly a scratch and then a week back in the UK and bust up already, its not a bad one so should be back on four wheels in no time…”

New crete for Cleethorpes

Cleethorpes in Grimsby has a new bowl thanks to Gravity skate park builders.

The bowl is a 5ft and 7ft horse shoe design with a 5ft volcano and teardrop bulbous end, 2 7ft>5ft escalators and a 7ft tombstone. This is another example of how skaters who work behind the scenes to deliver these parks is the only way forward. Well done to all involved.

Tanner joins Cliché UK

The search for Cliché Skateboards new UK rider is over and it’s John Tanner who has come up the ranks to fit the bill for the French based crew.

Cliché UK rep Nic Powley says “I’d seen various bits and bobs with Tanner over the past few months and Kevin Parrott assured me his section in Savoir Faire was looking to be a banger. When I got talking to Cliche about hooking up a new guy in the UK he was top of my list, his style and trick bag seemed to be a perfect fit. He also got the Sidewalk forum popularity vote which is almost impossible!”

Buy a copy of Savoir Faire in 2 weeks time and see for yourself why Tanner was picked ahead of many others…

Black Box never let us down with rad footage, and this one’s all in high definition too, you lucky devils.

You know what to do.

Permission to rip, is always granted, soldier.
