Zoo York have posted a video edit of the 2nd Annual Harold Hunter skate jam that went down under the Manhattan Bridge back in May on their youtube channel. In other Zoo York related news, Brandon Westgate won the 2008 Active Am comp in California this weekend taking home $6000 for his troubles, not a bad weekend’s work if you can get it. Landscape Skateboards had a good London turn out for their brand new Horizons movie at the weekend.
The Prince Charles Cinema hosted the film featuring sections from Rory Milanes whose reaction 5 seconds after his part just consisted one word which was…’Rad‘. He got the most pissed award of the night at the afterparty that’s for sure.
Joel Curtis hung up his decks to spend more time with his family so this was his last video part. Nick Stansfield and Jin Shimizu showed what’s to come for the future of Landscape and made room for the superb skills of Soy Panday whose section had more lines than Grandmaster Flash.
London riders Joleon Pressey and Snowy both had strong parts with the latter opting for a break on Brazilian beaches rather than sticking around for the premiere that was shown whilst snow fell in his Scottish homeland. Look out for Horizons this Xmas in your local SOS.
Terry Kennedy is so stoked on his feet being sown up in Supra’s he has come out with a full production along side his Fly Society crew. Watch out Snoop you got company yo… In other Supra news Erik Ellington and Danny Montoya performed a game of skate here at The Berrics. Get stuck in.
Habitat rider Silas Baxter-Neal has taken Thrasher’s Skater Of The Year award for 2008. After a bunch of cool video parts including an outstanding part in the Inhabitants video, the Eugene, Oregon skater has the biggest honour in World Skateboarding this year.

Danny Way broke a vertebrae in his back and will be out of action for months after a fall at the Brazilian Mega Ramp comp this weekend in Sao Paulo. Flip rider Bob Burnquist took the number one spot and Best Trick on the day with Jake Brown a sure second with Highest Air honours and Andy MacDonald in third.
