DVS have dropped a video this week in loving memory of Danish skater Kristian Bomholt who unfortunately passed away in March this year. Kristian was a caring person and a rad skater and will be missed by many who knew him. It’s times like this when you realise that you should be thankful for what you have in life. Etnies will be rocking the skate side of things at the Greenpeace skate area this weekend so expect to bump into a muddy version of Caradog Emanual (etnies), a smelly Nikki Howells (éS), an out of control Chris Jones (emerica), a man possibly dressed as a turd aka Woody (éS) and the ‘whoa’ master himself, Mr Carl Wilson.

Etnies are hosting skate lessons in the morning and pro demos in the afternoon. There’s no need to bring skate shoes as etnies are supplying them along with a few other freebies!

Independent Music Press are collating images for a new book called SKATE EARTH based on skate photography.

Basically if you would like to chip in your photos to the book they could be published. Independent Music Press did this recently with the Tattoo Soup book showcasing people’s art and it worked really well.

Email your photos to skate@impbooks.com and in exchange for you photos you will receive a free copy of the hardback book if they published. This is open to skaters, graphic artists and anything related to skate culture in general so get busy.
