You will probably be aware that Kris Vile won a pocketful of green coming 2nd at the UK Champs street comp last weekend in Corby. You will also now be stoked to know that his guest section from the Wellington City scene video If You Ever by Dom Henry has been posted online. View it right here.

The skatepark design and build team over at Wheelscape have delivered another UK park this month. Check footage of the newly completed Filton Skatepark in Bristol featuring Tim Noakes, Rich, Steven O’Shea, Mike O’Shea, Aaron White, Pig Dog, Wez, Chris Wils, Russell Squire, Andy Braithwaite, and Carl Willis.

People that can’t be arsed to skate this Saturday should be aware that the VANS Downtown Showdown event in Italy will be live streamed online here.

Alai, Blueprint, Cliché, Element, Heroin and Trap are all competing. Have a look if you are at home and please don’t email us if you want to know what time it’s online, we have no idea from the press release sent but would imagine it will run from midday.

Last night saw the London premiere of Andy Evans’ Heel Toe Magic movie in London Bridge. With a packed house and some love in the popcorn and booze department from Red Bull, the film kicked off with a trademark skate DVD rally straight into Ben Raemers‘ section that had a little bit of everything.

You will have to wait for the full review for all the trimmings but highlights excluding some great skating from all involved included the fabled Kingpin intro with Marc Churchill, the History of the Skateboard from prehistoric days with Stevie Thompson, Munson‘s Star Trek adventures with the D3 and hightop, classic Switch Heels section and Ben Powell‘s infamous swearing dressed in a beard and wig! Look out for this in your local skater owned shop very soon.

Dekline seemed to sign up so many riders this year at one point with the addition of Jason Adams, Chris Pastras and Olly Todd and now they have a new am on their ranks as of today. Foundation rider Nick Merlino joins the team and these 2 tricks here are a taste of what’s to come…

Now finding a home at Sidewalk Magazine, the Document founded Big Push is set to take a new direction in its fifth year. With a change to the previous ideology, this year, five footwear companies take up the five day challenge with pre-allocated destinations and specific challenges in order to gain points.

Taking place from Sept 15th until Sept 19th, 50% of the winning votes will come from you guys, the public and 50% made up of points earned by each team along the way. This years teams and regional locations are as follows:

Team Vans The North East
Team Etnies The North West
Team Adidas The East Coast
Team Shiner (replacement for Team Duffs): Scotland
Team DC: The South/ London area
Team Nike The South Coast

The legendary back wall of the Meanwhile 2 park has been plastered in a dope black and white photo from back in the late 80’s this weekend. The incredible job just appeared out of the blue and has stunned locals down here due to how rad it looks.
