AD and the Drawing Boards lads down South have been beavering away at sowing together their debut full length this year as well as their Oz team filming 2 parts each, one for the Drawing Boards video (untitled as yet) and another for an Australian DVD titled ‘Through Trial and Error’ which features Drawing Boards’ Ivan, Mikky, Darth and new boy Flynn along with other Oz heads.
The full length is scheduled for October 2010 release so look out for updates and enjoy these off cuts of Ivan Vargas to whet your appetite.

Phil Harvey’s bombardment of offcuts from the upcoming Keep Keen DVD have been on hiatus over the last few weeks whilst he’s been traveling through Europe collecting more footage for his upcoming release. Irish heads planning to attend the éS Game of Skate should make a note that the event is no longer going ahead at the previously reported date of August 15th but has been put back one week later to August 22nd instead. More time to skate outside your house practising late flips then obviously!

The Maloof Money Cup rocked Orange County this weekend and it was wrapped up by a thrilling and slightly controversial conclusion. Nyjah Houston nailed one of the best runs ever witnessed in a street comp, not missing a single trick (and these were big tricks) but it wasn’t enough to top Chris Cole’s consistent effort throughout and he walked away with the big purse.

Blueprint duo Paul Shier and Tom Knox have a few tricks in this latest clip from Germany on their site. Look out for pro Babushka decks and new snap back hats on your travels in the next few weeks.
Crayon rider Dan Wileman scooped best trick with a fs 270 back tailslide on his birthday at the Etnies European Skateboard Championships 2010 this weekend. The comp streamed perfectly from Basel, Switzerland live on the internet via Freecaster so if you were at home it was easy to tune in and not miss a trick.
Dutch nipper Nassim Guammaz walked away with first place in the street comp, Phil Zwijsen took the honours in the mini ramp comp and Ianire Elorriaga came 1st for the girls.

The Get Lesta crew were out to help raise the profile of skateboarding this Saturday at Countesthorpe, in the Leicestershire district of Blaby. This mini ramp will be hosted in a school for 4 weeks so get down there for a session and show the local council that they need a local park.
