Grab a minutes worth of Lem Villemin pushing through the city of Stuttgart in Germany.

Directed by Chris Whitaker, this short film featuring Chris Colbourn, Cody Hale and Jordan Maxham won the ‘Cha Cha’ Independent Skateboard Film Festival honours as judged by the likes of Atiba Jefferson and more. It’s a great laid back affair with some amazing skateboarding. Enjoy Skate House.

We decided to visit the new Skate Pharmacy shop down in Margate for this year’s Go Skateboarding Day. The seagulls sung, cold beers were drunk, Powely’s shop looked amazing and the locals turned up for a session on some DIY built obstacles and to feast on the Volcom BBQ.

Carl Wilson filmed some concrete slaying with Alan Glass for this latest Pixels edit for Creature who have new decks out this week. Clissold Park and Harold Hill provide the sessions.

This is good news for those in the Harlesden and Willesden area of North West London as a new skatepark looks likely to be built soon in Roundwood Park. I’ve walked my dog in this park for many years and sat on the hill overlooking Wembley Stadium many times. Stoked that there will be something to skate in there soon.

A design consultation took place last night at Youth Centre on Longstone Avenue where the local community attended the consultation event and provided their views. Whilst the facility has support in principle, there are a number of concerns that need to be sorted before the skatepark can move forward.
