éS Coffee Accent and Accelerate

es_accent_coffee_large

Wake up to the smell of roasting hot skate shoes, hand blended by skateboarders for skateboarders from the quality people at SoleTech. The robusta new Accelerate model from the éS range comes with STI Insoles for supreme comfort and boardfeel plus OG ThermoThane ollie protection for longer lasting shoes only made for skateboarding. A rare design in today’s ‘skate every day so we can cash in on your efforts’ skate shoe game.

The Accent model is definitely more of a chiller, designed with a leather tongue built to stabilize inside the smoothest blend your feet would have ever witnessed. If chosen to skate in, you will find that your feet are closer to your griptape that ever before. We have first hand knowledge to account for the claim. These are the smoothest out there.

Yield the seeds, desire your flavour and get stoked on the fact that the éS Accell is also about to drop into skate shops worldwide this week.

Get your beans together and spend them well this month at the likes of Slam City Skates, Welcome, Scene, Consortium, Black Sheep, Urban Industry, SS20, Bored and Prime Delux skate shops across the UK. Your feet only deserve skater owned products. Never forget it.

Lakai Albany and Camby Echelon

Lakai-Albany-Port

Looking for a summer chiller to wear after a skate? Lakai‘s Echelon collection could be the perfect option as these off board kicks have everything you need for comfort and ease. Canvas shoes are always my personal choice in the heat as you can throw them in the washing wachine and get more use out of them if you don’t like wearing socks. These canvas numbers are perfect for hot sunny days, slip on and off and are silky on the comfort front.

Check out their Camby range too as they have a tasty mid out right now that is a best seller for the reasons stated above. Simple but effective for happy feet.

Etnies Marana Bloodline shoe series

etnies_marana

Etnies have released their new Bloodline range this week for the Marana shoe and sent these over in a cooler box full of ice. This new slimline version of the original shoe that we reviewed back in February last year functions better overall. I’ve had a pair of the red OG’s on for the last week and they are snug and feel solid compared to a lot of flimsy ‘skate shoes’ that are on the market right now, but I guess that’s Sheckler’s influence. He’s hardly going to be jumping big stuff in a pair of hipster shoes that are made for barfly’s is he?

The E-Lite version (seen in white below) comes with a toe cap to add to the durability and also uses STI Evolution Foam cushioning across the complete midsole and outsole. If you want skateboard shoes that last, then look these up. They will be your pals way longer than your average canvas number this summer and made by skateboarders for skateboarders.

Dan Cates Death Dogma IV deck

dan_cates_death_skateboards_dogma_IV_deck

Carved with one of the raddest shapes of recent times, Dan Cates’ new Dogma IV deck pays homage to legendary Brand-X skateboards with this 10″ wide fluorescent beast designed by artist DJ Titchener.

“This board has been a long time in the works and is a throw back to my early days of skateboarding as a young kid growing up in the eighties,” explained Cates today. “This graphic was originally released on Brand-X in the mid eighties and was called the ‘Dogma III’. It was, and still is my favourite skateboard graphic of all time and I would love to own one. Until then, I will be more than happy to get by on Death’s tribute to all things Brand-X and the late Bernie Tostenson who drew the original. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the Dogma IV, shape drawn in our kitchen by Nick Zorlac and myself, and inspired by the nose of a Jeff Grosso, the tail of a John Lucero, and the sides of an Aaron Murray. Long live skateboarding. P.S. buy one.”

Order one of these from your local skate shop and check out the Clown series with guest legend Simon Woodstock that have dropped this week

Marc Johnson Lakai pro shoe

mj_canvas_marc_johnson_skateboard_phantom_lakai

With the British Summer in full swing right now it’s all about canvas shoes. Not only do they wash well unlike suede, they are more forgiving when it’s hot and our feet should be the highest priority considering the amount of grief we all put them through in every session.

Lakai‘s latest winner is the new Marc Johnson model. Famed for being stolen by the dude in Fight Club in the clip below, MJ has chosen a pure chiller with a slim footbed, griffin outsole and a lightly padded upper for comfort. Since the Lakai Camby has effectively taken all the honours for the ultimate off-board choice, MJ’s versatile skate shoe can either get you through a sesh or assist you at the bar. The choice is yours, but keep it skater owned for maximum stoke.

These should be in skate shops this August, ask your local SOS to order them in for you.
