Skatepark for Baghdad

Yep, that’s right. By July you will be able to visit a brand new skatepark in the centre of Baghdad, after an American businessmen has decided to pump millions of dollars into the city’s struggling amusements and tourist attractions.

With over 200,000 skateboards being shipped over to Iraqi kids, this project either aims to help the chidren of a war-torn country, or is another exploitation. Read the full article here, and decide for yourself.
