The locals of Hackney and surrounding areas of London will will have a brand new skatepark on their doorsteps very soon. The park designed and built by Freestyle Skateparks is scheduled to be opened in Clissold Park, Hackney in February 2011 and looks like it’s going to be something quite special.
John Flood from Freestyle sent us these photos of the ongoing build this morning and said…”When you’re standing in the bowl it looks great. We used a different transition which, after looking at the first pour of concrete looks perfect! This bowl has big cupping transition for the hips, but tightening up at the top, the lines will work perfectly once it’s all completed.”
The park apparently be fitted with a table tennis table next to it – start dreaming of dry, warm weather and get hyped on London receiving another bowl finally.
